The Moran Group Employees Walk Over 2,900 Miles to Support Ochsner Health's Breast Surgery Recovery Fund

Baton Rouge/New Orleans, LA: The Moran Group, a leading advertising and marketing agency, is proud to announce that its team of employees has walked over 2,900 miles in the month of October. The team set this goal as a way to support Ochsner Health's Breast Surgery Recovery Fund, which provides support to women who are undergoing breast cancer treatment. The Moran Group has committed to donating one dollar for each mile walked to Ochsner Health’s charitable fund.

“We are incredibly proud of our employees for their dedication to this cause,” said Jim Moran. “Everyone came together and committed to moving more in the month of October, and they never gave up on their goal. Their hard work will make a real difference in the lives of many women who are battling breast cancer.”

The Moran Group will donate one dollar per mile walked to Ochsner Health's Breast Surgery Recovery Fund. This means that the team's effort has raised over $2,900 for the organization.

“We are so grateful to The Moran Group for their support of Ochsner’s Breast Surgery Recovery Fund,” said Rickie Gsell, a Nurse Navigator with the Breast Surgery Recovery program. “This donation will help us to provide much-needed assistance to women who are undergoing breast cancer treatment.”

The Moran Group's team walking challenge is just one example of the company's commitment to giving back to the community. The company also encourages its employees to volunteer for their favorite charities, offering paid time off to The Moran Group employees to participate in charitable causes for their communities.
